Jazz at Naz, 2nd edition, has wrapped. We can confidently say the festival was a success, concluding with a sold out debut performance by Samara Joy. In addition to enthusiastic audiences here at The Soraya, we sold a record number of online streaming passes, sharing the great music with audiences far and wide. One of my personal favorite moments was Vince Giordano’s band’s authentic rendering of Sing Sing Sing, the 1935 classic made famous by Benny Goodman, performed on Giordano’s vintage instruments. This moment and others are captured in this brief recap video.
The 2024 festival lineup has already been booked and will be announced on June 1, 2023. Stay tuned and mark your calendar for January 27 through February 10, 2024.
